Moda baby quilt with flannel backing

I made a baby quilt for Don's cousin whose wife is having a baby boy. They all need to love this because I had a hard time giving it up! I used a gift certificate from Donald for fabric dot com (a highly recommended site for affordable designer fabric, by the way) to buy the Moda fabric, and the green fabric is from a stash my mom let me have from her sewing room. The backing is flannel from JoAnn Fabrics. The first photo is a closeup of my quilting job. Quilting is when you sew all the layers together. Since I'm a newbie, all I do is straight rows of stiches. I used a decorative stitch, which you can kind of see in the first photo. Eventually I hope to be able to do the fancy loopy quilting. Check back in ten years.
