Stone Silk

I just finished this reversable lap quilt in a Sweet William Round design. The backing is just a patchwork using the accent fabric from the top. By accent fabric I mean the three large strips in the middle of the first photo quilt top. It's this amazing hand dyed stuff called Paint Box by Lonni Rossi for Andover Fabrics. One of the fabrics has gold stamping. The rest of the top is from a jelly roll of fabric made to feel like silk and printed to look like stone. I found it at Prairie Star Quilts in Elk Horn, Iowa. It's super soft. I've got tons of fabric cut out for binding, so this baby is ready for the quilter's!
