Clip'n'Pincushion

My friend Sonia of Fabric and Flowers just designed the most brilliant pincushion. When I saw it I immediately knew I needed it! Grab the Clip'n'Pincushion on Etsy.

A wee note about the Clip'n'Pincushion pattern: it's concise and easy to use and a perfect PDF download in my opinion, because I didn't have to print many pages and it would be easy to follow along on a screen.

Two really great things about the Clip'n'Pincushion:

1) Finally somewhere to quickly pop my clips AND pins while sewing.

3) It's quick and fun to construct.

The top of the Clip'n'Pincushion before construction is 5.5" so I got to use a leftover denim EZ Miter block. I used my EZ Miter fussy cutting guide to find the perfect coordinating focal print from April Rhodes' Wanderer Fabrics for Art Gallery Fabrics. I placed a piece of fleece-lined knit between the focal fabric and miter block before sewing it down with a zig zag stitch.

You can read more about the EZ Miter here.

The clip flaps for the Clip'n'Pincushion. How they come together is genius!

I love this new pinnie of mine. You should make one. It's way too handy not to have. It would make a great gift, too!
